Spring Term - 2016
Following grade examinations in classical ballet and medal/ awards in freestyle, street dance and rock n’ roll that took place in December 2015, the results arrived in early spring 2016. The school achieved 100% pass rate with 90% of pupils gaining over 85 marks. Well done to everyone! Rehearsals began for our show That’s Entertainment 2016 which was to take place in October 2016 at the Grand Theatre Lancaster, all pupils were very excited about the up coming show and the making of costumes got underway. Pupils were invited to perform at the Allied Dancing Association Show Case for teachers and examiners which was a real honour and the evening was a great accomplishment for the school.
Summer Term - 2016
In the summer term pupils performed in their cheerleading displays, which are always fun and a pleasure to watch. You did great girls! Happy Feet Cheerleaders were also asked to perform in the popular show ‘High School Musical’ which was so enjoyable to be part of.
Happy Feet were invited to perform along side the stars of ‘Britain’s got Talent’ in the touring show ‘Talents of Britain’, they danced two spectacular routines, one based on the show ‘Will Rodgers follies’ and the other a modern piece based on ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ it was such a fantastic evening and a great way to close the summer term.
Winter Term - 2016
The winter term began with lots of rehearsals for the school show. On 22nd & 23rd October all pupils performed in the school show ‘That’s Entertainment 2016’ What a success! All the hard work put in by students made a fantastic, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable show. Pupils got to show off their skills in some brilliant routines, it was amazing for everyone! You did Happy Feet Theatre School so proud. Thank you to all parents for their continuing support. After the show it was party time. Happy Feet celebrated Halloween with pupils attending lessons in fancy dress and having a spooky time in class. We performed at ‘Christmas on the crescent’ in Bare with a truly festive routine, it really did help to get us all in the Christmas mood. The winter term closed with the Happy Feet annual Christmas party which was great fun and such a happy time for all that attended.
Spring Term 2017
Lessons have begun on preparation for examinations and medal test awards which will take place in the summer term. Pupils have been given new school uniform requirements and they look beautiful, when all pupils in classes have them I will take some pictures and put them on our Facebook page.
SPRING 2015
Happy Feet began the spring term training for examinations and medal tests that would take place during the summer term. Some pupils were invited to perform in the show ‘Pasha - Life Through Dance‘ along side BBC Strictly Come Dancing winner 2014 ‘Pasha Kovalev’. Rehearsals began in March to take part in this fantastic show. What an opportunity! Well done Happy Feet.
Cheerleaders began learning their team routines to perform during the summer term. Congratulations to Olivia Rogerson, Katie Bowker and Sruthi Rajakarier who were invited to demonstrate the Higher Grade Ballet level for the Dancing Association syllabus DVD. Other pupils recommended by the examining board for other grades were Isabella Stretch, Katie Greenwood, Laura Hacking , Kennedy Brown, Miesha Kirkland, Sophie Carter, Elysha Collins and Louise Houghton . Excellent work girls, very proud of you all.
SUMMER 2015
The summer term was very productive at Happy feet. Cheerleaders went out to perform with a great display of three crowd pleasing routines. The lift display was performed and extremely well executed and really enhanced the performance. Well done to all cheerleaders, you did Happy Feet proud. On may 19th 2015 pupils performed in ‘Pasha - Life Through Dance‘ at the Grand Theatre Lancaster. It was a fabulous evening, Happy Feet were so pleased to be involved in performing in such a great show.

The summer term finished with dress up week for all younger pupils, It was lovely to see all the children having so much fun before breaking up for the summer.

News letter September 2014 – December 2014
Happy Feet began the new term with continued rehearsals for their school production, costumes were fitted and routines perfected. Pupils were extremely excited to perform ‘That’s Entertainment 2014 ‘ at the Grand Theatre Lancaster on 25th and 26th October.The show offered a rich mix of dance, singing and music. Featuring dazzling costumes and thrilling choreography. Pupils performed brilliantly making the show a huge success. All pupils did Happy Feet proud with an excellent standard of performance. For some senior pupils this was their final show and you will be greatly missed, good luck for all you do in the future girls! Thank you to all parents for their continued help and support.
Halloween was a spooky week at Happy Feet lessons. Pupils came dressed up in great costumes and everyone had a fun time with the theme. Dancing and singing to all the Halloween favourites.
In November pupils were invited to perform along side the winner of BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2014 Pasha Kovalev in his forth coming show ‘Life Through Dance‘ which is to be held at the Grand Theatre Lancaster on May 19th 2015. Happy Feet Theatre School is thrilled to be asked to perform in this stunning show for the third time, can’t wait to start rehearsals girls!.
The term closed with Happy Feet’s annual Christmas party. This was an afternoon filled with fun and games, it was lovely to see all ages through the school coming together to celebrate. Senior pupils entertained everyone at the party by performing a fantastic western themed routine. Well done girls, you were great!

News letter September 2013 – July 2014
In October Happy Feet pupils were delighted to be asked to perform at the “Horrible Halloween Event“ at Lancaster Castle. They performed an excellent display of theatre and dance to fantastic halloween themed music. A spooky evening was had by all. Pupils had great fun dressing up and getting into character.
December 2013 was a very busy month at Happy Feet . A second session of Examinations and Medal Test Awards were held in Classical Ballet , Freestyle and Rock n' Roll . We have had an excellent exam result again with the school achieving 100% pass rate with more than 90% of pupils gaining over 80 marks. This goes to show the dedication of staff and the hard work put in by pupils. Congratulations to everyone!
After the success of the Halloween event Happy Feet pupils were invited back to Lancaster Castle to perform at their Christmas Spectacular. Pupils performed a festive Routine and looked stunning in their costumes. It was a very cold day but pupils did not let this spoil their performance. Well done Girls!
To finish off the Autumn Term Happy Feet held it's annual Christmas Party. This was a great opportunity for all pupils of all ages to get together and feel part of the school. Lots of festive fun was had by all.
New term
Happy Feet Cheerleaders had a full season of displays booked. Some of the opportunities to perform were hindered by bad weather which was disappointing, however, when the weather was on our side all Three Teams performed dynamic routines and put on a great show for the crowds.
On July 26th 2014 Junior and Senior pupils performed at the brilliant Tutti Frutti Festival at the Platform in Morecambe. They put on a fantastic Rock n' Roll display. The costumes looked amazing and all pupils involved really got into the 1950's era. Once again girls you did both Tutti Frutti and Happy Feet proud!
Pupils are now rehearsing for the schools forth coming show “That's Entertainment 2014“ being held at the Grand Theatre Lancaster on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October. Tickets are available from the box office on 01524 64695.

Happy feet pupils were delighted to be asked for the second time to perform along side Katya and Pasha from the BBC Strictly Come Dancing Show. It was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity for our pupils to show off their own talent. An exciting evening was had by all.
Once again Happy Feet Cheerleaders had a successful season of displays, performing at six local events. Luckily the weather held out. Three teams performed energetic and dynamic routines, all the girls had lots of fun but it was sad to see three of the teams eldest girls finish at the end of the season. Sally , Hannah and Lauren you will be missed !

On July 27th 2013 Junior and Senior pupils performed at the ever growing in success Tutti Frutti Festival at the platform in Morecambe. It was great to see young pupils really enjoying themselves and getting involved in this 1950's era. You did 'Tutti Frutti ' and Happy Feet proud girls.
