Happy Feet began the new term with continued rehearsals for their school production, costumes were fitted and routines perfected. Pupils were extremely excited to perform ‘That’s Entertainment 2014 ‘ at the Grand Theatre Lancaster on 25th and 26th October.The show offered a rich mix of dance, singing and music. Featuring dazzling costumes and thrilling choreography. Pupils performed brilliantly making the show a huge success. All pupils did Happy Feet proud with an excellent standard of performance. For some senior pupils this was their final show and you will be greatly missed, good luck for all you do in the future girls! Thank you to all parents for their continued help and support.
Halloween was a spooky week at Happy Feet lessons. Pupils came dressed up in great costumes and everyone had a fun time with the theme. Dancing and singing to all the Halloween favourites.
In November pupils were invited to perform along side the winner of BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2014 Pasha Kovalev in his forth coming show ‘Life Through Dance‘ which is to be held at the Grand Theatre Lancaster on May 19th 2015. Happy Feet Theatre School is thrilled to be asked to perform in this stunning show for the third time, can’t wait to start rehearsals girls!.
The term closed with Happy Feet’s annual Christmas party. This was an afternoon filled with fun and games, it was lovely to see all ages through the school coming together to celebrate. Senior pupils entertained everyone at the party by performing a fantastic western themed routine. Well done girls, you were great!
News letter September 2013 – July 2014
In October Happy Feet pupils were delighted to be asked to perform at the “Horrible Halloween Event“ at Lancaster Castle. They performed an excellent display of theatre and dance to fantastic halloween themed music. A spooky evening was had by all. Pupils had great fun dressing up and getting into character.
December 2013 was a very busy month at Happy Feet . A second session of Examinations and Medal Test Awards were held in Classical Ballet , Freestyle and Rock n' Roll . We have had an excellent exam result again with the school achieving 100% pass rate with more than 90% of pupils gaining over 80 marks. This goes to show the dedication of staff and the hard work put in by pupils. Congratulations to everyone!
After the success of the Halloween event Happy Feet pupils were invited back to Lancaster Castle to perform at their Christmas Spectacular. Pupils performed a festive Routine and looked stunning in their costumes. It was a very cold day but pupils did not let this spoil their performance. Well done Girls!
To finish off the Autumn Term Happy Feet held it's annual Christmas Party. This was a great opportunity for all pupils of all ages to get together and feel part of the school. Lots of festive fun was had by all.
Happy feet pupils were delighted to be asked for the second time to perform along side Katya and Pasha from the BBC Strictly Come Dancing Show. It was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity for our pupils to show off their own talent. An exciting evening was had by all.
Once again Happy Feet Cheerleaders had a successful season of displays, performing at six local events. Luckily the weather held out. Three teams performed energetic and dynamic routines, all the girls had lots of fun but it was sad to see three of the teams eldest girls finish at the end of the season. Sally , Hannah and Lauren you will be missed !

On July 27th 2013 Junior and Senior pupils performed at the ever growing in success Tutti Frutti Festival at the platform in Morecambe. It was great to see young pupils really enjoying themselves and getting involved in this 1950's era. You did 'Tutti Frutti ' and Happy Feet proud girls.
